FETF Funding Overview
FETF provides grants for machinery, equipment and technology items to help cut costs and boost efficiency on your farm.
- Items must be listed on the Grant Scheme to be eligible.
- Minimum claim of £1000 and maximum of £25,000.
- The balance on the purchase can not be funded by hire purchase or lease etc…
- Grant only applies to brand new items.
- Any ineligible items must be invoiced separately.
- You must retain ownership of the equipment for 5 years.
- It is ok to pay a refundable deposit up to 40% to secure the supply of your equipment.
- Equipment must be installed and operational before you can claim your funding. (photographic evidence required)

What can you get?
The FETF grant will pay you up to 50% of the cost of new Farming Equipment and Technology. Some examples of the equipment you can use this grant for are:
- Automatic weigh & drafter for sheep
- Cattle Handling Systems
- Manual or Powered Cattle Crushes
- Auto Shedding Gates for Cattle
- EID readers
- Electronic weigh systems
- Auto drench or vaccination guns
