Oamaru, New Zealand – Te Pari is pleased to announce the acquisition of Combi Clamp, the well-known New Zealand manufacturer of Combi Clamp manual sheep handlers. The acquisition marks another important step in Te Pari’s mission to provide farmers with safe, efficient, and seamless livestock handling solutions.
For decades, Combi Clamp has earned a strong reputation across New Zealand and Australia for producing reliable manual sheep handling equipment that helps farmers work more efficiently while improving animal welfare. The addition of the Combi Clamp brand expands Te Pari’s sheep handling offering and complements its existing range of Racewell Sheep handling solutions.
The acquired product will be rebranded as the Te Pari Combi Clamp and integrated into Te Pari’s established sales and support network, ensuring customers continue to have access to the trusted handler they know, backed by Te Pari’s global reach and customer support.
The acquisition aligns closely with Te Pari’s long-term vision: to be a global market leader in safe, efficient and seamless livestock handling solutions. By adding the Combi Clamp manual handler to its portfolio, Te Pari is broadening the range of solutions available to sheep farmers.
Jeremy Blampied, Global Sales Manager at Te Pari, said the acquisition reinforces the company’s commitment to helping farmers improve productivity and livestock management.
“Combi Clamp is a respected brand with a loyal customer base and a proven product that has helped sheep farmers for many years. Bringing Combi Clamp into the Te Pari family strengthens our sheep handling range and allows us to offer farmers an even broader selection of solutions to suit their operation. It’s a natural fit with our vision of delivering safe, efficient and seamless livestock handling systems to farmers around the world.”
"Lynley and I are looking forward to retirement, and we’re really pleased to see Combi-Clamp go to a company that will keep it moving forward. We’re especially happy that it’s staying with a New Zealand company that will continue developing the product and supporting farmers.
Combi-Clamp was launched in 2002, so we’ve been busy running the business for 24 years. We believe the Combi-Clamp is the best manual sheep handler, and the Te Pari Racewell is the best automatic sheep handler, so it feels like a natural fit to bring these two trusted brands together.
We’ll certainly miss our clients. For us, it has always been about the people, and we’ve really enjoyed working with farmers over the years.
We’re looking forward to retirement enjoying time on our farm and travelling around New Zealand and Australia, and finally hanging up our show boots. It will be nice to have time to visit some of the places we’ve always wanted to see.
We know Te Pari will take Combi-Clamp forward and help even more farmers around the world. We wish the team all the best and are confident it will be a great success."
Te Pari’s acquisition of Combi Clamp reflects the company’s continued investment in innovation, product development, and growth. The business remains focused on supporting farmers with practical solutions that improve efficiency, enhance animal welfare, and simplify everyday livestock handling.
The Te Pari Combi Clamp will form an important part of the company’s future sheep handling offering as Te Pari continues to expand its presence across New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, North America, and Europe.
Founded in New Zealand, Te Pari designs and manufactures livestock handling equipment used by farmers in more than 50 countries. The company’s purpose is to help farmers grow real food and create a better life for people and livestock through innovative livestock handling solutions.
