Te Pari has been designing and manufacturing high-quality cattle yards in Australia for decades, working closely with farmers to deliver safe, efficient and long-lasting cattle handling systems. As one of the most experienced Australian cattle yard builders, we customise every yard to suit the operation, environment and stock flow requirements of each farm.

Below you can see 3 recent Te Pari cattle yard installations across Victoria and New South Wales.

Ashley Walpole’s Cattle Yards in Woodside, Victoria

Ashley Walpole recently installed a Te Pari SY190 Cattle Yard at his coastal property in Woodside, Victoria. Designed to safely handle up to 190 head of cattle, this yard layout focuses on efficient cattle flow and reduced stress on both livestock and handlers.

Key features of this cattle yard include:

  • Cattle-free working area
  • Curved cattle race and circular Super C-Force forcing pen
  • 3-way drafting module & Lenta Vet Crush for efficient weighing & sorting
  • Stepped loading ramp with catwalk and flat top landing
  • Additional timber holding pens at the entry and exit to increase yard capacity

Given the coastal environment, Ashley chose hot-dip galvanised steel cattle yards to ensure long-term corrosion resistance and durability. This is a common consideration for farmers looking for reliable cattle yards in Australia’s varied climates.

Ben Nichol’s Cattle Yards in Gunnedah, New South Wales

This SY492 cattle yard in NSW showcases Te Pari’s S-Race system, a curved cattle race designed to improve cattle movement and reduce baulking. The S-Race allows for larger internal holding pens and is ideal for larger finishing operations.

Key highlights of this yard:

  • Large-capacity yard layout for mobs of up to 500 head for high-throughput operations
  • Central drafting pound and diamond transfer pen
  • Fully automatable S-Race and circular forcing pen for faster cattle processing
  • Stepped loading ramp with catwalk and flat top landing
  • Te Pari Taurus Auto 3-Way Drafting Crush with pneumatic operation for efficient drafting

As experienced Australian cattle yard builders, Te Pari designs yards like this to reduce labour, increase safety and improve animal welfare.

How Strong Are Te Pari Cattle Yards?

As one of the leading Australian cattle yard builders, Te Pari focuses on strength, safety and longevity in every yard we build.

Made from High-Quality Steel

All Te Pari steel cattle yards are manufactured using premium steel that is hot dip galvanised after fabrication, ensuring maximum corrosion protection inside and out.

Te Pari’s Custom-Made Anti-Bruise Cattle Rails

Our custom oval cattle rails measure 67 x 48 mm and are 2mm thick, delivering superior lateral strength comparable to square rails without sharp edges that can bruise cattle. The gaps between rails allow for great visibility through the yards for both cattle and handlers.

All rails are backed by our 5-Year Stockbend Warranty. If a rail bends under lateral force during this period, we’ll replace the entire panel at no cost.

Hot-Dip Galvanised for Superior Rust Protection

Galvanising occurs after fabrication, meaning all welds and joints are fully protected. Unlike powder coating or paint, the zinc coating bonds with the steel for long-term durability. All hot-dip galvanised parts are covered by a 10-year guarantee.
