At Te Pari, we build equipment that farmers rely on every day — and that starts with rock‑solid manufacturing data. We’re looking for a Manufacturing BOM & Costing Data Analyst to take ownership of the accuracy and integrity of our Bills of Materials and routings.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys getting out on the factory floor, understanding how things are truly built, and making sure our systems reflect reality. You’ll be the link between production, engineering, and finance — the person who ensures our data is as robust as the products we make.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate BOMs & routings against real Te Pari builds and production processes
  • Confirm item numbers and quantities used in manufacturing
  • Investigate and resolve data errors impacting inventory accuracy and product costing
  • Work on the factory floor to verify components, assemblies, and build methods
  • Update BOMs and routings in Microsoft Business Central with precision and discipline
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Finance to fix root‑cause data issues
  • Analyse variances in Excel using lookups, pivots etc
  • Implement data controls to prevent recurring errors and strengthen our manufacturing backbone

About You

  • Manufacturing experience with strong understanding of BOMs and routings
  • Strong Excel capability — lookups, pivots, data analysis
  • Detail‑focused and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Mechanically minded — able to distinguish similar parts and assemblies
  • Comfortable in factory + office environments
  • Strong communicator across operational and finance teams

What Success Looks Like

  • Improved BOM and routing accuracy across Te Pari’s product range
  • Reduced inventory and cost variances through cleaner, more reliable data
  • Greater confidence in costing and valuation for decision‑making and planning
  • Fewer production issues caused by incorrect master data

Why Join Te Pari?

Because here, your work matters. You’ll help strengthen the data foundation behind world‑class agricultural equipment built right here in Oamaru. You’ll work with a team that values practical thinking, continuous improvement, and doing things properly.

If you’re the kind of person who notices the small things, understands how products come together, and wants to make a measurable difference in a growing Kiwi manufacturing business, you’ll thrive at Te Pari!
