TE PARI CRUSHES

The Importance of a quality Crush

The Te Pari range of Cattle crushes are built to have a long and hard life as a faithful workmate. They take a hammering so you don’t have to.

Our Te Pari Cattle crushes are designed to get the job done without putting unnecessary stress on the operators or the animals.

The benefit of purchasing Te Pari Cattle crushes is the design, build-quality and safety features. All our crushes are designed with the safety of the operator as our primary concern. These safety features will ensure the operator can focus on getting the job done without fear of injury.

Unique features of Te Pari Cattle Crushes

World Leading innovation

Just some of our industry first developments include the eRail EID gate reader, offside draft handle, Titan control panel and Titan Auto Drafting system.

Reliable and Strong

The entire crush is fully hot-dip galvanised providing the most solid corrosion protection available. Other design features include grease nipples on all major pivot points, extra strong double chassis rail, heavy duty gate hinges and headbail doors.

Range of Models

Quiet Operation

The unique mechanical locking systems used on Te Pari crushes are very quiet so as not to stir up the cattle. Other features include; slam latches with nylon sleeves for additional noise reduction, Super tough polyethylene sheeted gates and rubber floors to absorb additional noise; nylon track guides on sliding gates to eliminate rattle.

TITAN HD3

The Titan HD3 Auto Draft Cattle Crush is a fully automated weighing and drafting system that is smooth, quiet and straight forward to set up and operate.

This system is capable of handling large numbers of cattle quickly, safely, and with minimal operator input. The System can be set up draft out of the crush or by utilising the drafting gates in front of the crush.

By utilising the cattle EID tags and the Te Pari unique eRail Gate EID reader on the Titan HD3, individual animals can be tracked and recorded easily without any operator intervention. “Draft Lists” such as breed, status, sex etc. can be created in the office and set up in the scale system to automatically draft the various cattle based on these preset criteria. In addition to this growth rates can be monitored to ensure animal health and performance is tracked and maintained.

These benefits assist in stock data collection and use in a manner that is both time efficient and economically sound. This is a vital step in increasing on-farm productivity and profitability with the use of technology. That’s why the Te Pari Titan Cattle System is a star in cattle handling equipment!

Note: This crush is a draft out of crush version.

Selecting the Right Cattle Crush
Drafting/Sorting Options
  • Headbail operation from the rear of the unit with a drop away safety handle.
  • The offside drafting handle which lets you draft using an overhead handle without having to leave the safety of the work area.
  • There is a baulk gate option at the front of the crush to prevent runaway stock – a must when working alone!
  • Operating handles that rest vertically against the frame so there’s no chance of walking into them.
  • The innovative Anti Slip Backing Bar system. This small and seemingly irrelevant feature prevents the backing bar from slipping out sideways and causing an injury to the operator. Previously when a cattle beast was in the crush any tail end sideways movement could cause the backing bar to rapidly move sideways out of the crush, with a high chance of nasty operator injury. The anti-slip backing ratchet gives the ability to push the animal forward in the crush safely.
  • The rear gate has a safety lock and works on nylon wheels for ease of operation. features include drop down operation handles, and auto locking sliding gates.
  • Feed utilisation as a result of regular weighing will help you to achieve superior growth rates.
  • Using EID allows cattle to be drafted manually or automatically by other criteria such as owner or breed. EID also helps with identifying animals that have superior growth rates, providing essential data related to genetic gains in breeding situations and the timely sale or slaughter of stock to accurately optimise market or processing schedules.
  • By weighing stock regularly, animal health issues can be picked up early which is a huge advantage, as prevention is better than cure, which will help you to maximise stock productivity and reduce cost.
  • Having the ability to accurately assess weight gain in cattle is key to being able to make decisions regarding the performance and growth rates of individual animals on the spot. The necessary action can then be taken to either draft off or drench according to weight. This is made quicker with EID tags which are now compulsory for cattle in New Zealand and Australia.
  • Regular weighing prior to the stock going to the works will help you avoid schedule downgrades or financial penalties for under or over weight stock.
  • A 60 month warranty on structural steel and galvanising and 36 months on powered components applies to all crushes and headbails.
