About us
Te Pari is a family-owned, globally recognised manufacturer of livestock handling and animal management systems. We are seeking a Yard Design CAD Drafter with proven technical expertise to design stock yards to customer requirements.
This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm) based at our Oamaru facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design stock yards to Sales team/Customers requirements using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)
- Work closely with our Sales team and Project Manager to ensure accuracy in the designs
- Creation of drawings and renders
- Ensure BOM's are true and correct
- Preparation and maintenance of CAD documentation, drawings, and associated quality control to industry-leading standards
About You:
You’ll bring both technical know-how and practical experience.
Ideally, you will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- CAD rendering software experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- An agricultural background highly desirable
