Te Pari is a family-owned, global manufacturer of livestock handling and animal management systems, operating from a purpose-built facility in Oamaru with teams across New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom and the USA.

We are entering our next phase of growth and are seeking a senior, pragmatic technology leader to align our Microsoft and ICT platforms and drive our digital operating capability to the next level.

The Opportunity

This is a senior role accountable for the alignment, governance and performance of our core systems. You will operate strategically while remaining execution-focused, ensuring our technology ecosystem enables scalable, integrated operations in a growing manufacturing environment.

About the Role

You will:

  • Align Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM, Business Central, Marketing) into a connected, low-friction ecosystem
  • Remove manual workarounds, duplication and system inefficiencies
  • Support and ensure governance of system development
  • Own vendor relationships and performance management
  • Develop and deliver a clear 3-year roadmap aligned to business priorities
  • Manage cyber security, governance and platform discipline
  • Consolidate tools into the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Manage AI adoption and integration to business processes
  • Establish ICT support for the global team
  • Provide practical technical leadership across the business

About You

You are a hands on but pragmatic technology leader who combines strategic thinking with delivery discipline. 

You bring:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and integration architecture
  • Solid understanding of M365, Azure and cyber security fundamentals
  • Experience operating in ERP or manufacturing environments (preferred)
  • Confidence evaluating new platforms, vendors and AI solutions

Your leadership style is commercially grounded and outcome-focused. You are comfortable and capable of keeping strong technical contributors aligned and engaged while ensure that technical debt / shadow tech are managed in a secure manner.

You value progress over perfection and understand the trade-offs required to deliver and scale in a growth business.
