Suspended Weigh Crate
Unlike traditional sheep weigh crates, the Racewell Auto Sheep Sorter uses integrated overhead load cells to suspend the weigh crate from above. This provides a lower entry height for improved animal flow, protects sensitive weighing components, and significantly reduces weigh cycle times for faster processing.
The load cells are safely housed under a protective cover, keeping electronics clean, dry, and operating accurately.
Independent Entry & Exit Gates
The entry and exit gates on Racewell Auto Sorters are separate from the weigh crate. This eliminates any interference caused by sheep pushing or leaning on the gates.
The result is more accurate weight capture, improved performance, and greater efficiency during high-throughput weighing sessions.
Automatic Operation
The Racewell Auto Sheep Sorter uses a patented dual-sensor system to automatically control the entry and exit gates, creating a smooth, hands-free sorting process.
Adjustable sensor positions allow the system to accurately detect both large and small animals, making it easy to weigh and sort mixed-sized mobs in a single pass.
Dual-Controls
Unique in the market, the Racewell Auto Sorter has a central control panel accessible from both sides of the machine, allowing it to be fully set up and operated without requiring the remote.
It also includes a rugged wireless remote that provides the operator complete manual control. The remote can pause the automatic sorting, which makes inspecting an animal easy, and also enables dirty/clean sorting with a single operator.

The Trailer System
Transporting the Racewell Sheep Auto Sorter on the farm or road is made easy with the optional Racewell trailer system. The Auto Sorter sits in the middle of the trailer, and the winch raises or lowers it. The loading and unloading process can be completed in under 2 minutes, even by a single person, and the innovative design allows you to adjust the sheep drafter's position before placing it down.
