How it Works

Designed and tested by sheep producers, this proven handling system allows producers of all sizes safely and efficiently handle large volumes of sheep and goats and is packed with unique features that sheep producers appreciate such as adjustable width alley, anti-backing hock bars, and portability.

The Tub and Alley system consists of a 12’ diameter crowding tub which feeds a 15’ long alley with adjustable side walls. The Tub and Alley System is available in both stationary and portable configurations depending on the handling needs of the producer. The 6’ crowding gate eliminates pinch points that are found in other tub designs and there is a spring loaded safety latch to prevent livestock from being able to push the gate open.

The portable version utilizes a jack system to lift the tub and install or remove the wheel and tire assemblies. The system can be pulled at speeds of up to 60mph to move between farms and grazing locations. The tub collapses for transport to keep within legal width restrictions for road transport. The tub and alley are a rigid welded assembly for industry-leading strength and durability.
