The new Classic Hoof Handler has been designed specifically with the dairy farmer in mind and give superb facilities for hoof paring whilst giving excellent access to head, neck and body areas for vetting and general handling. Featuring the proven Classic Headbail, the handler provides a safe, firm restraint for any size cow whilst in the crush, and when open provides a large walk-through opening.

A unique feature of the Classic Hoof Handler is the adjustable 'hoof bar' at the rear. This bar pivots from the floor and when in position allows the operator to secure the animal's rear hock to the bar for safer and more secure hoof paring operation.

Available in vet or vetless form this crush is proving a popular choice for discerning dairy farmers.

Why a Cattlemaster crush is so effective

  • Hot dip galvanised

    All steel components are hot-dip galvanised. The coating becomes part of the steel surface for superior rust protection.

  • Locking System

    A unique shaft locking system provides a sure and strong yet simple hold for the headbail.

  • Anti-slip backing ratchets

    The anti-slip backing ratchets are vital for safe and efficient handling, preventing the backing bar from slipping out sideways and causing injury to the operator.

  • Grease nipples

  • Rear-handle

    The Cattlemaster headbail can be operated from the rear of the unit with an easy push/pull, drop away safety handle. This allows one cow to be let out and another to be let in without the operator having to move in front of the crush.

  • Baulk Gate

    The baulk gate is basically a crash gate that swings across the front of the headbail to prevent the problem of runaway stock.
