About Te Pari
Te Pari Products was established in 1979 by Peter French who invented the scissor action docking iron. This product won a Fieldays Innovation Award in 1980 and became the flagship product for Te Pari.
The name Te Pari came from Peter French’s farm which was called Te Pari, and is on the banks of the Rangitaiki River. The Te Pari logo symbolises the sun rising over the banks of the cliff and the word Te Pari means cliff in Maori.
Over the next 17 years Peter French and his wife operated Te Pari and expanded the range to include other animal husbandry and handling products.
In 1997 the Blampied family purchased Te Pari Products and continued the expansion of the product range to its present day range including the Cattlemaster brand.
In 2004, Te Pari acquired the ownership of the Donalds Woolpress manufacturing business.
Today the company is still in family ownership and continues to expand. While NZ is our primary market many products go offshore to Australia, UK, Ireland, Europe and even the Falkland Islands. The company now employs modern production methods including robotic welders and has a highly skilled sales and customer services team
